"You have three belts, which one(s) are you trying to replace? If you go to sears.com and get into the lawn and garden section you can download the owners manual for you tractor. Lower your deck all the way to replace belts. Pushing in the clutch/brake will give you room to remove the drive belt. Disengaging the blade and pulling back on the tension pulley will give you room to replace that belt."

Treadmill Belt Maintenance Tips
Generally treadmills are built to withstand rigorous workouts and frequent use that may not need repairs costing a fortune but if a secondhand treadmill is purchased or a new one has been used very frequently, it may warrant the attention of the user and one such item is the treadmill belt.
If the new treadmill is still under the warranty period, the treadmill belt will be replaced free of charge but if not so, a new treadmill belt has to be purchased that would be available with the dealer. Since the safety of the user is vital, the treadmill belt has to be fitted properly. In fact, the manufacturers sell special maintenance and repair kits along with their treadmills.
Fundamentally, the top of the treadmill belt has to be clean and free of dirt since dirt would mar the insulating effect of the walking belt. In this juncture, it is valid to point out that when different people use the treadmill, it is better to buy a new pair of shoes for each person using the treadmill that would enable to keep the dirt, sand and other dust away from the top of the treadmill belt, which is quite significant.
Also, it is absolutely essential to clean the top of the treadmill belt once in three months with the help of a nylon bristle brush. The treadmill belt has to be lubricated only with the lubricant prescribed by the manufacturer and there are two types of lubricant namely wax and silicone. The wax is a powder, granular and solid form whereas the silicone is in liquid or spray form and different treadmills need different lubricants.
Again, the frequency with which the treadmill has to be lubricated also varies from one model to another but serious runners can lubricate the belt once in every six months and walkers and joggers can do so at least once in a year and according to the use and type of treadmill being used.
While using a spray, it is better not to spray it directly onto the equipment, instead a small amount of spray has to be sprayed on a soft cotton cloth and then it can be wiped out. It should be checked whether the treadmill is properly positioned on the deck and before cleaning the treadmill, it has to be unplugged from the power source.
It only takes a little effort, time and care to maintain the belt of the treadmill which is certainly cheaper than replacing with a new belt. When the treadmill belt is lubricated and maintained properly, the life of the treadmill can be extended and it reduces the wear and tear on the other components of the treadmill as well.
