Everlast MMA Bag Gloves Review
MMA Gloves - A Different Type Of Fighting Glove
MMA or mixed martial arts have become very popular. They can be seen on just about every cable network in the United States and the live events almost always sell out. This not your traditional fighting. In this style of fighting, you will find moves and styles that cross borders and makes cultures. It is brutal and it gets the adrenaline pumping.
Due to the variety of moves involved, traditional boxing gloves would not work. A glove had to be made that would protect the hands but still allow full hand movement and control. A new breed of glove was born. They are called MMA gloves. These gloves will protect all the bones, tendons, and ligaments in your knuckles and hands and at the same time allow full range of motion for grappling moves. Where there is a problem, there usually is a solution.
If you do not already own a pair, make sure that you get a high quality pair that will withstand all of the abuse that you are going to dish out. Cheap gloves often fall apart quickly and lack the proper protection that your hands need. Here are just a few things to look for when buying MMA gloves.
A brand name that is well known, like Everlast, Title, UFC, Hayabusa, Harbinger or Gungfu.A comfortable fit.Tight fitting gloves that will not come off easily.Proper padding.Proper knuckle and wrist support.Advanced closed cell foam.Remember you only get one pair of hands. Make sure that you protect because without them you are not going anywhere.

Answer:
If you are going to be using them more for bag workouts, I might try to get some with a little more padding. Maybe 6-8 oz's.
If you are using them primarily for rolling and sparring, I'd go with the 4 oz version.
