How to Use Elastic Cords to Make Jewelry

To make your own elastic bracelets, get the length just right, and learn how to stop cord ends from fraying. To the beginners, they may not clear about how to use elastic cords to string beads. Cut the length of cord you will need. Leave about six inches of cord at each end to have enough to work with when you tie knots by the end beads to secure them. You can also add crimp beads between the end beads and knots to prevent the beads from sliding off the cord. You may don't know how to tie knot either if you are new to jewelry making. Make sure that you do not cut through the knot. You can add one or two drops of jeweler's cement on the tip of the knot to seal it in place.
