Frequently Asked Questions...
Buying a pet play pen and mat online, Pros and Cons of the BILL ME LATER program?
I'm buying a pet play pen and mat online that totals to about $60.00. I dont have my debit card yet, (its coming in the mail), but i really need this for my rats, because they need a large area to run around outside thier cage.
Since i dont have a card yet, i cant pay via that method, and the only other option is BILL ME LATER.
What are the Pro's and Cons of this method?
I've done research, and i know that if you dont pay in full by the time the amount is due, then they charge you immense interest. (19% !!!!!!!)
So if i do use this, i do plan on paying in full ASAP.
And also, could i pay this bill using my online bill pay with RCU?
I would like quick answers please!!!!
Thanks!
Answer:
I have used Bill Me Later for many transactions over two years now, and I'm very pleased with it. The only con I see is the sky high interest rate. But it was a lifesaver last Christmas with shopping for my kids. I was able to buy gifts with the "no interest for 6 months" promotion and then get it paid off before the accrued interest was applied.
I'm not sure if you can pay online with your bank, but I do know that you can pay your bill online at the Bill Me Later website. You could actually do that as soon as your debit card comes in and never even have a bill!

First of all, on the "Pro" side, I would point out that rubber mats protect your horses feet and prevent lameness and injury.. All right, I acknowledge your objection, for the "Con" side, and I agree you have a legitimate point as you say heavy rubber mats are a pain to lay in stalls and to move around. But I'd like to additionally show that horses hooves are delicate, and need to be protected. This is not only for comfort, but also for safety and economy.
Second, you should think about that interlocking mats can make a very solid floor, even better than one piece horse stall mats. Likewise, by reducing stress on your animals with proper flooring, you are more likely to have fun when using your animals. As well as, proper equestrian flooring keeps your barn clean.
Third, you have fewer flies in the barn because mucking out is a lot easier. This means that healthy horses, health hooves, and lower farrier and vet bills. And on top of that, you will have more time to enjoy animals when they're not lame or tender!!
