Every woman loves shopping the problem is that can get very expensive very quickly. Below are a few tips and places to shop to save you money.
Walmart: Of course this is still the best place to buy clothes at cheap prices. You will need to consider that the quality is not as good as brand name stores but at their prices you can afford to replace them.
Online: Ebay is still the biggest auction site around. If you are looking for a specific item such as Levi Jeans, or those special pair of boots it is worth a try online. There are also many warehouse stores that offer online shopping and sometimes they have great sales, just make sure you take the shipping into account. It's worth googling if there is a specific item you want before buying it at the full price you never know what hidden gems lie just a click away.
Garage Sales: Summer is great for garage sales, it may take some searching but there are some great garage sales out there. If you notice some happening in your area they are worth checking out, you never know what you can find including great brand name clothes in mint condition for a quarter of it's retail price.
Warehouse sales: Often during the holidays certain warehouse stores will have huge sales, that's the times to shop. You may just get lucky and find those pair of $300 boots on sale for $50.
Thrift Stores: There is no shame in shopping at second hand or thrift store. This is especially a great idea if you are looking for children's clothing or any kind of vintage items. There are always hidden gems at thrift stores and visiting them every so often just might prove profitable.
When shopping for clothing always keep in mind that even though it looks great before plunking down obscene amounts of money try a few thrifty places. You may not find those Levi jeans but you may find a pair that are just as good at an affordable price. Shopping can still be a fun and exciting the key is knowing how to shop thrifty and where to go.
