Bowflex 552 Dumbbells - It's Best To Get The Newest Model
Warning - do not make the mistake of buying the 2008 models. There are a few things that I came across in my research on the Bowflex 552 Dumbbells that are important for you to be aware of before you buy any adjustable dumbbells. The 2009 models came out in September of 2008 and is the newest model regardless of what numerous third-party sellers are portraying, there is no 2010 model.
Is There A Way To Tell Which Model Is The Most Recent Model?
The newest model has a black base plate and the tabs on the 2009 have been replaced by metal tabs in place of plastic on the 2008′s making them more hard-wearing and eliminating many of the issues from 2008. Bowflex 552 Dumbbells - The Negative
The negative I found on the bowflex 552 dumbbells 2009 was about how the length was a tiny bit long for a couple exercises and they had to modify these couple exercises to adapt but they stated that it wasn't truly too big of a problem since it only affected a few exercises and they reported that they would not waver in purchasing these dumbbells again.
The Bowflex 552 dumbbells are not inexpensive but they are worth the cost. Even so it's still a great deal because it is more expensive to get each weight individually however it actually is not that bad when you see that buying this set singly does cost more in addition it's about the cost of a gym membership however the dumbbells will be used longer than a gym membership.
These Bowflex 552 dumbbells are made solid and it is very improbable that they will break although unlike conventional dumbbells you cannot just drop these dumbbells after a tiring dumbbell exercise set as that possibly could damage them. If you have to drop these a lot, more than about 6 inches then you might wish to continue with traditional weights.
Overall
