Your shoulders can be a good measure to decide of the width. You should have about 4-6 inches extra mat space on each side of your shoulders.

These latex free mats content no harsh chemicals, so they are free of that chemical smell that can be overwhelming sometimes. These mats are good for those who suffer of latex allergies.
